Natural Awakenings Magazine graciously donated a booth to RDRP for the 3rd Annual Eco Fest and several volunteers and their dogs helped throughout the day.  Many thanks to Diane Marshall, Lynda and Raquel Martinez, Annabelle Noble, Bonnie Miscavage, Jill Creevy, Charlene Proeger, Nancy Faris, Cyndi Toale and Shellby and Chris Kemper as well as Babs, Casey, Carlton, Bonita, Roxie, Ari, Jersey Joe, Carita, Flyboy, Hootie, Baby and Cassie.  We made quite a statement at the event!

I call him Neal, the Real Deal. He’s a wonderfully loving, sensitive and shy guy who needs a confident playmate of any size to live and play with. Neal loves to run and show off in the back yard, but is very gentle indoors and loves to sleep quietly in his crate for as long as you need him too. He is not an early riser, he waits til he sees the people stirring and then he is ready to start his day with a solid and bonding walk. He is so happy on his walks, where he acts like a perfect angel, he looks up at you with smiles in his eyes to say thanks. Neal is also very protective on his home turf. If anyone comes at night, he will bark his very deep and ominous bark to ward off strangers. Leave all your windows open with this guy around, because any intruders will think twice before entering a home with that bark! The irony is Neal is the furthest thing from a fighter, Neal’s a lover and would never fight with anyone, human or canine. He wants love and only love. He is very needy and tends to be a velcro dog, so if you like being adored and worshiped, Neal is your guy!

Linda Evans, design artist, art educator, and greyhound “Mom” will take students, regardless of talent, through a special step by step process to a finished, framed piece of art.
The technique is easy and can be used again to make your own note cards and craft designs.
All materials are provided.  Just come ready to learn new ideas and have fun!
