By joining the BABAM Club, your $20 per month donation will go directly towards feeding the dogs one day every month. Currently, we have nine members of the BABAM Club… we just need 21 more!
The most efficient way to make sure 100% of your donation is being used to feed the dogs is to send a $20 check to RDRP every month (address below). For your convenience, you may want to use your bank’s online bill-pay feature. (Note: you may use PayPal on this website to donate, but keep in mind that PayPal keeps some of your donated funds in exchange for the service, so the full $20 will not be received by RDRP.)
Currently, we are buying 52 lb bags of Pedigree dog food, and on average, we go through about one of these bags every day. We buy retail, just like everyone else, but because we buy over 1200 lbs at a time, a local supplier in Bradenton kindly discounts each bag to about $20. Because of our non-profit status and because the food goes directly to the dogs in our care, we do not pay sales tax. Here is a photo of one of our dog food runs. We bought 24 bags of dog food during this haul, photographed. That’s 1248 lbs!
