Twister got adopted! YAY! This beautiful red brindle girl is doing great in her new home, which she shares with her new dog-brother, Rudy. She is quite the character… her new mom reports that Twister loves sleeping on her back with her legs up in the air. Ahh, the sign of true contentment! Way to go Miss Twiss! We’ve had Afghan Hounds for almost 14 years and recently lost our 8 year old rescue. Our one and a half year old Afghan girl misses the companionship and running partner. We’ve always loved the Greyhound and are considering an adoption. We live in Palmetto Florida and would love to see who’s available in our area.

Twister is my kissy face. Whenever I’m at the barn, I have to have kisses from Twister. I had the great honor of being her very first walker on her first morning at the rescue after coming from Miami. It’s been love ever since.
