The way our adoption service works is that if you decide to proceed, fill out the application and return it to us. If your application is approved, we will contact you, either by email or phone, to discuss the kind of dog that may be the most appropriate for you (temperament, gender, etc.). Next, we will arrange a meeting time where you may meet the dog that is available for adoption. At that time we will also need you to sign a hard copy of both the application and the contract. Racing Dog Rescue Project has a strict policy requiring that all of the dogs that we adopt out be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. To help defray the costs of spay or neuter, shots, teeth cleaning, the book "Adopting a Racing Greyhound," leash, collar and tags is $250.00.
